About Me
Rick Rodgers MSW, LCSW
Restorative Fitness grew out of a shift in my own life — from simply getting through things to learning how to function with clarity and stability.
As someone who is AuDHD and a veteran of 14 years of military service, I spent a long time trying to make sense of stress, overwhelm, and how to actually feel steady in my own body and mind. What I came to realize is that well-being isn’t about “fixing” yourself — it’s about understanding how you’re built and learning how to work with it.
That realization led me to explore and integrate psychology, yoga, meditation, and nervous system-based practices. Over time, I found that many traditional approaches overlook something essential: the body’s role in how we think, feel, and function day to day.
Restorative Fitness was created to bring these pieces together in a practical, grounded way. It’s a space where mindfulness, movement, and breathwork are used as real tools — not abstract concepts — to help you feel more regulated, clear, and capable.
This work isn’t just something I studied — it’s something I’ve lived. I’ve used these practices to rebuild my own sense of stability, and now I help others develop that same foundation in a way that fits their life.
At its core, this is about helping you feel more at home in your own system — with greater clarity, resilience, and trust in how you move through the world.
